How to apply Learner's licence (LLR) in AP

 According to the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 anyone who drives a vehicle in Andhra Pradesh must had a driving licence. To obtain a Driving licence you must get a learner licence first.

Step 2: 
Fill the form correctly, and scan the documents that need to be scanned and attached before submission.

Step 3 : Finish the payment and choose a date and time slot to appear for the LL test at the nearest RTO. If you cleared the test, RTO will issue the LL immediately.

AP Learner’s Licence – Eligibility Criteria ;

The learner’s licence eligibility criteria depends and varies on the type of vehicle chosen by the applicant in Andhra Pradesh. Listed here are those criteria:

  • For a non-geared motorcycle up to 50cc engine capacity, the minimum age required to obtain a learner’s licence is 16-years.
  • For a Light Motor Vehicle, the minimum age required to obtain a learner’s licence in Andhra Pradesh is 18-years.
  • For a Commercial Vehicle, the minimum age required to obtain a learner’s licence in Andhra Pradesh is 20-years.

Documents Required for Learning Licence in Andhra Pradesh

  • 3 Passport-sized photos
  • Ration Card/Passport/ PAN Card/Voter ID/ Birth Certificate/LIC Policy for Age Proof
  • Aadhaar Card/Ration Card/Voter ID/ Electricity/Phone Bill for Address Proof

Apply for a learner’s licence online in Andhra Pradesh:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Road Transport and Highway by click here

Step 2: Click on the “Online Services” drop-down tab.

Step 4: On next tab you need to select the  learner’s licence.

Step 5:
 Before clicking on “Apply For LLR”, read the instructions carefully.

Step 6: Select the “Apply For LLR” and choose “LLR Fresh (if the applicant not having any DL/LLR)”.

Step 7: Fill in the all information that required and click “Next”.

Step 8: Attach the documents required.

Step 9: Pay application fees by using any payment gateway which provided there.

Step 10: Choose a date and select your slot that you would like to take the learner’s licence test.

Step 11: Visit the RTO office near to you and write the learner licence test which is now conducting onlune.

Step 12: Once you pass in the exam the RTO will give the learner’s licence to you.
